combinator 2 effect preset switching

hey there, im very close to purchasing the combinator 2. i just have one final question about its capabilities.

I will be using it to control several pedals with multiple presets (ehx- cathedral, eventide timefactor, modfactor etc..) my question is if i create patches with these pedals on the combinator two, can i save different presets from these pedals into these patches? or will i have to have the presets dialed up on these pedals before i switch patches using the combinator?

i assume that the combinator wont be able to change between presets when i dial up different patches, but i just wanted to check because that would be awesome if it did.
