Combinator 2, which buffer

Post  HKC on Sat Apr 03, 2010 2:31 pm

Hi I can see that many are concerned whether the Combinator 2 has true bypass or not. I am rather on the other side and appreciate the buffers. Are they the same as the one in your buffer pedal? If not, is it possible to change the buffer inside it if I want to make it even more high end.

...Well the combinator was made to make life easier...
The other stuff is just an endless ladder going nowhere Wink
Happy Easter.

No offense but you are on that ladder as well, you have a Carl Martin Buffer pedal out there as I am sure you know. The way that pedals interact is very dependant on the buffer so I am interested in megaOhms and stuff like that.

Eh..what I meant was, it is not always that the highend stuff is what sounds good with guitars.....
They need that little something earthbound to work good, too lofty and it will be too nice and have no edge, too funky and it will also sound slightly off Wink
Same buffers as in most of the regular pedals.
We have a chip we like alot for that.
