carl martin hydra boost

I need some advise on the carl martin hydra boost,i play high gain amps,(VHT DELIVERANCE HEADS)and i like the sound that they produce,im just looking for alittle more push in front to take it over the top and i was wondering if the hydra boost will do that and enhance the tone also(add some presence-highend sizzle),i have tried some other boost pedals but they didnt enhance my sound they just made a good sound less-good sounding if you know what i mean,anyway thanks for the time.

It does have a very slight "precense" airy topend to it!
Think it boosts about 15dB by the way.
