The Compaq Presario CQ60 was released in 2009 under HP's subsidiary Compaq. With a starting manufacturer's price of $500, the CQ60 was designed and marketed as a budget notebook for home users.

OS, Processor, Memory and Drives
Based on the Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, the Compaq Presario CQ60 had a 2-GHz Intel Pentium 2 processor. HP set the computer's memory at 3 gigabytes (GB), and the computer featured a 250-GB hard drive and optical drive that could read and write CDs and DVDs.

Graphics and Connectivity
The Compaq Presario CQ60 had an integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M for its video and graphics, supporting a 15.6-inch screen that sported 1366 pixels by 768 pixels in resolution. HP also included an Ethernet network card and integrated 802.11 draft-n wireless LAN connectivity.
Physical Specs and Ports/Slots
Weighing about 7 lbs. and encased in glossy black, the Compaq Presario CQ60 measured 15 inches long, 10 inches wide and 1.4 inches high. The computer also had an Express/PC Card slot, three USB 2.0 slots, audio jacks and VGA, RJ-11, RJ-45, and HDMI connectors.
