QUATTRO V2: analog or digital?
Hello.
I am a happy user of CM DC Drive, and recently I tried out quattro v2, which seemed very suited for my needs. One suspicion though, the unit is being sold as an "analog multieffects unit" by many shops, where the delay unit seemed a little bit digital to me and I suspect the compressor also might not be fully analog. Can you explain, for each individual effect, where does the signal get digitized (ADA), if it ever does?
Thanks in advance.

Quattro Analogue or Digital
As far is I understood from this forum and gear page and so on, the quattro's main signal path is full analogue, therefore no true bypass is needed. For the delay (echo) a discrete shift registister (digital memory IC) is used to add the echo to the main signal.
Right?

It might be a good idea to pose your question directely (see "contact") at the home page.

here is the answer from CM, for everybody who might be interested:
Hi thanks for the mail.
The echo is a hybrid with a digital delay mixed in with analog clean, the rest is 100% analog.
Best regards
